Cookies Policy

VETAVEIN SL (hereinafter, the Controller), through this document, provides its Policy on the collection and processing of cookies, in compliance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).

Cookies are stored on the user’s terminal device (computer or mobile device) and collect information when visiting the website VETAVEINBCN.COM, for the purpose of improving its usability, understanding user browsing habits or needs in order to adapt to them, as well as obtaining statistical information. For users who are already clients of the Controller, the information collected through cookies also serves to identify them when accessing the different tools made available by the Controller for managing its services.

This Cookies Policy applies to users who voluntarily visit the Controller’s websites, fill out data collection forms, access the tools the Controller provides to its clients for managing their services, or use any other service on the website that involves communication of data to the Controller, or access to data by the Controller for the provision of its services.

The Controller informs users of its web pages of the existence of cookies and makes this Policy available in order to inform them about the use and purpose of such cookies. Continuing to browse through the website implies knowledge and acceptance of this Policy by the user.

TYPES OF COOKIES USED

The Controller uses the following types of cookies:

Classified according to ownership:
First-party cookies: sent and managed directly by the Controller.
Third-party cookies: sent and managed by a third party unrelated to the Controller, anonymously, for the purpose of conducting statistical studies on browsing behaviour on the Controller’s web pages.

Classified according to purpose:
Technical and/or customization cookies: facilitate browsing by identifying the session, allowing access to restricted access tools, and enabling customised configuration options. They make it possible to provide the service previously requested by the user.
Analytics and/or advertising cookies: allow the Controller to know the number of visits received in the different sections of the website, the habits and trends of its users and, as a result, improve browsing and the service offered by the Controller (mainly through Google Analytics). They also help manage advertising spaces included on the website visited by the user. They collect data anonymously in order to generate user browsing profiles.

Classified according to duration:
• Session cookies: collect and store data while the user is accessing the website.
• Persistent cookies: collect and store data on the user’s device for a variable period depending on the purpose for which they are used.

The retention period of cookies will depend on the type of cookie and will always be the minimum necessary to fulfil their purpose.

In any case, users can configure their browser to disable or block the reception of all or some cookies. Not wishing to receive these cookies does not prevent access to the Controller’s websites, although the use of certain services may be limited. If, after having given consent to receive cookies, the user wishes to withdraw it, any cookies stored on the user’s device must be deleted through the options of the different browsers.
